Alternative London Wedding Photographer – Rachel and Dan

On the morning of the wedding, Rachel and the girlies got ready at Portobello Hotel in London. As I walked in I felt the calmness of the room. Whilst the bridesmaids relaxed on the bed, the make up artist finished Rachel’s make up. The morning was filled with giggles. Tiny champagne glasses were filled and presents given, this was the perfect morning to a special day. Then it was time to put the dress on! Rachel looked so stylish and beautiful. Paradise by way of Kensal Green played host the their wedding, which suited this couple to the ground. Being an alternative London wedding photographer you get to see some pretty cool venues. However this one comes in at the top! It was such a quirky venue with so many photo opportunities. This venue completed reflected Rachel and Dan’s style and personalities.

The ceremony was beautiful. Surrounded by friends and family, Rachel and Dan became husband and wife. And their gorgeous son Joe looked so handsome in his little suit! Then after the ‘I do’s’ the celebrations began. The venue was full of laughter and chit chat. I let the newlyweds catch up with their relatives and celebrate with their friends. Meanwhile I was in stealth photographer mode capturing those natural moments with all the guests.

Then it was time to sneak the happy couple off to take some portraits. Strangely enough I usually prefer taking these pictures outside, but this venue had so much to work with! Rachel and Dan were totally chilled and allowed me to get carried away with creativity. I felt like they understood my madness and the pictures reflected them and their style. I could have spent hours taking pictures of this gorgeous couple. However it was then time for their meal! The food was delicious and the staff at Paradise were so attentive.
