Gate Street Barn Wedding Venue

Gate Street Barn wedding venue kindly invited me to visit the other day to see their brand spanking new refurb! I was delighted to be asked, so I picked up my camera and off I went. Jane and India met me there, they are the awesome ladies that run this great venue. I chatted to them in the office for a while and fussed over gorgeous Basil (their doggy). It wasn’t the most pleasant of days, it was a little cold, windy and the rain hadn’t stopped all day! However…with this new refurb looking as fab as it does, I didn’t need the sun.

This venue is AWESOME!! It is completely set up for weddings throughout the whole year, whatever the weather. With the new refurb, it has extended the space and also connected the two parts which were previously separate buildings. There is more room now to have different table lay outs for your wedding reception. The new extension on the side of the main building lets heaps of light through! Connecting the two buildings is a gorgeous space with a great feel to it, it brings the outside in. There is now a screen so you can put your wedding slideshows up for evening guests. Also it now has full disabled access which is a huge plus.

If you’re thinking of having a Gate Street Barn wedding, I would highly recommend!!! The ladies will completely take of you. This venue has so much going for it, inside and outside space, a beautiful country feel. There is an awesome working farm, and I have just heard they are about to adopt and house some Storks.
