Hannah and Nicola
This is the story of two teachers falling in love. Hannah and Nicola worked at the same school, Hannah first then Nicola joined a little later. Nic was actually put in the position of being Han’s boss! Their eyes met and they fell in love… Well Nicola stalked Hannah until she gave in to a date! Hehe The rest just fell into place. I have never seen a couple more in love with each other in my life! These two have got the real deal! It’s absolutely beautiful to see. This is why I was absolutely ecstatic to be their Blake Hall Wedding Photographer. The day was absolutely amazing to capture, completely relaxed and fun!! Pure happiness and love to be felt.
Han and Nic got engaged in Dec 2016 and then married in July 2018. It took them 18 months to plan and in this time they learnt a lot! Not only about planning a wedding, but to not stress about what other people thought. This day was going to be about them as a couple and nothing else mattered! Luckily they have an incredible family that love and support them.
The Wedding Day
They decided on a Blake Hall Wedding in the gorgeous English summer! It was a stunning day! The fun started in the morning. Han and Nic got ready in the same house with only a wall between them, it was great fun trying to get them to avoid seeing each other. This was actually one of their favourite parts of the day. The build up and excitement of the morning. The girls were ready and it was time to get Married! And so the mum’s walked Han and Nic down the aisle. It has to be the most beautiful ceremony I have been a part of. I was tearing up!! Full of emotion!
This is the story of two amazing people falling in love and doing it their way!! Their advice to any couples getting married is to do what makes you happy!!!! And what you want! Make it personal and don’t give in to peer pressure of ‘what’s expected’. Oh – and only have people there who you like. It sounds silly but we have heard of so many couples who have been forced to have people there who they don’t like or even know! We only had our nearest and dearest.
