Anita and Pete
Opposite sides of the world came together to celebrate the marriage of the lovely couple that is Anita & Pete. This charming couple are based in Croydon but Anita’s family live in Hong Kong and Pete’s family in the UK. Question – do you know what’s better than one wedding with all of your loved ones? Yep, you guessed it – TWO weddings! Yes, Anita and Pete had two gorgeous weddings to celebrate their love for one another. One in Hong Kong and the other at Brookfield barn in the UK.
I was honoured to be Anita and Pete’s Brookfield Barn Wedding Photographer. Anita and Pete decided they wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle of London. And out into the countryside for their special day – which did not disappoint! The grounds at Brookfield Barn were stunning. They did however, take a little piece of the city with them in their unique wedding cake. Just take a look below! Little details like this really reflect the life they share together.
The Wedding Day
The outdoor ceremony was wonderful, Anita’s dress and veil danced in the breeze, adding to the beauty of the simple and elegant ceremony. After the couple had said their vows and a few happy tears were shed, we headed to get some fun shots in the VW campervan and some of my favourite bridesmaid and groomsmen shots!
The group shots were followed by the feast, the speeches, evoking more happy tears and one of the coolest ideas – laser pigeon shooting!
With the guests milling around with full bellies and full hearts, sipping their drinks and enjoying one anothers company, I was able to steal the gorgeous couple away for some intimate couple shots. We got some amazing photos of them both, with the incredible country views providing the perfect back drop – I even got to play bride for a moment when Anita let me wear her veil for some quick snaps! Ha ha! I really do treasure the relationship that I get to build with my couples. The artistic nature of the job is what first inspired me, but now to be able to combine that with making true friendships, with truly lovely people like Anita and Pete – that is what it’s all about.
Everyone boogied into the night until our feet could take no more – What a day it was! Scroll down to check out the photos that just radiate love from the happy couple and their proud families. Go on, you know you want to.

Can we all just take a moment to appreciate that sparkling work of art, LOVE it! Well done bridesmaids and groomsmen!
Just one more question – Can we do it all again?
